Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Williamsburg, VA

I can easily say that Busch Gardens Williamsburg is the most beautiful park I have been to. Everything about the place is perfect. The trees are incredible, the gardens are beautiful, the staff is the nicest around, and though the rides aren't plentiful, I still managed to spend 12 hours there and have a blast. An example of why they do things right: We went there on Memorial Day Weekend and it was hot, not fall down dead hot but still pretty damn hot. As we were in the hour and a half line for DarKastle, they came around and gave everyone free bottles of water. It's such a simple gesture but something that made a huge impression. Everyone we talked to was nice and kind and sweet.

Apollo's Chariot is the smoothest, scariest ride. I don't think it's scary but others do. I love how you float through the trees and skim the top of the lake. B&M coasters are always incredible and this is no exception. Thrilling and a rush. ****1/2

I need to think about this coaster more and make an accurate decision. I need to judge it by what it is and not compare it to other new coasters.

This is probably the best inverted coaster there is. This thing just doesn't stop. It's the only coaster in a long time that I actually felt odd afterward. *****

This coaster is a really good coaster for kids and not really much else. It's just not all that good. Years ago it was...but not anymore. **

Not a coaster I know but I thought that I would add general rides as well. This is a fun ride. It's kinda odd to get used to since there aren't more like it at this park. It was enjoyable and the graphics are great and the 3D is good. ****

Now I'm just posting pics cause it's fun. Two water rides. Escape from Pompeii is a basic up and splash with nice effects. The other two are the too-short log flume.  .
