Australia

Yes my company actually sent me to Australia for work. I am still amazed especially because at first I wasn't supposed to go then a girl dropped out and I was able to go. Everything about the country was awesome. The people were all beautiful, the accents were incredible and the scenery was beyond compare. We only had a little time in the country and if I had planned it better I would have had more things to do and places to go but it was fun nevertheless. We flew into Sydney, after a 22 hour plane flight, and spent the say there. Then the next dat we drove down to Canberra where the conference was being held. It was a three hour drive that stretched into 8 since we kept stopping to see things. So we had four days there that consisted of a lot of drinking (love VB! Great beer!) and skipping the conference activities and just enjoying the countryside. The we drove back to Sydney and my two co-workers left the next day and I stayed in Sydney for another five days. hehe. The best thing was that it was also the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, so there was like 700,000 more people in the city and lots of floats and stuff. People seemed not to get nearly as uptight there as they do here about the whole gay thing. There were grandma's lined up in chairs on the street to watch the parade. It was cool. I have to go back. So here is a smattering of photos, more will follow.
