This would be an archive for the month of October, 2003 2003-10-01 09:58:00,2003-10-01 06:59:04 I have the gayest music selection going on right now as all I am listening to are show tunes. I think I need help. I have Anastasia (actually pretty good music from the cartoon movie), Rocky Horror, Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables and The Producers. I am peppering it with other things like Peaches, Depeche Mode, Dido, Kylie, 50 cent but its just silly. And the sad thing is that I am really getting into the music. It's just me and my headphones and I get so into the story and all that I get all moved and distracted. I need help. another insight into me. 2003-10-01 14:51:00,2003-10-01 11:51:15 wow So I just got junk mail that said: 'We're marching to a master pace, look out here comes the master race" la la la la la 2003-10-02 13:05:00,2003-10-02 10:05:42 hey all, i'm working with Spamarrest cause the junk shit was getting to be 170 messages a day. Bear with me while I get everyone in. :) 2003-10-03 12:58:00,2003-10-03 09:58:37 nation fun last night grabbed some really nice breasts. danced a little. forgot the wonderful feeling I get hearing depeche mode in the club. always make me think of jo red death IS the best drink and one day I will be sober enough to figure out what's in it. problem is that once you have one, things tend to get fuzzy had fun with Kim and co as always. Dan is hot. thanks Jen for everything. I don't know what I would do without you. same for Elizabeth, thanks for the ear Vicki's hair looked cute I wanted to wear a skirt but it never came through I had glitter on too 2003-10-06 10:10:00,2003-10-06 07:10:40 Friends Friends are a wonderful thing. Its nice to know that a simple phone call can make you feel so good. My battery died on my phone and I was unable to charge it till just now and listening to the messages was very nice. This guy I met, Brett, called. And the best was Jo and Nicole calling from Paris and giving me grief for not being there and for being a bad emailer. That was excellent. It's nice to start off the day with a smile. God, now I feel like a walking version of one of those cute cat posters... Other news: the wedding was excellent. Alan (did you know that you can spell Anal out of the letters for Alan? That's what my fingers typed first...) and Rachel looked so happy and perfect up there. I cried. It was my first Jewish wedding and I thought it was very nice. Seemed to be a ceremony that was more about the couple instead of just the tradition. And the yamaka (i have no idea how to spell that) wouldn't stay on my head. The reception was awesome and I still hurt from dancing like an idiot. I look like an old man when I try and get out of my chair. It was very nice to be around all the Rude's and having such a good time. Josh's cake was sugar death and it was wonderful! White chocolate....mmm.... I am a uncle again. And a godfather for the first time. Jenson was born at 2:21 pm on Friday. He looks like a shrunk old man. I walked to the hospital room and my brother was sitting in a chair and Jenson was asleep on his chest. It was so cute. He was in the hospital yesterday still cause he was a little jaundice but I think he should be out now. Saturday was AIDS walk and that was fun. Jen, Katie and I did it ... I mean we walked. It was a nice 5k jaunt around the monuments. The weather was great and the rain held off. It didn't seem to be as crowded as in years past, and I haven't done it for like 2 years, but it seems like people are forgetting about it or that it's just becoming a fact of life. I don't like that. I'm thinking of trying to volunteer sometime with them and see if there is anything I can do. And it was interesting walking around all these people from all walks of like and seeing them all being affected by this. People had signs pinned to their backs saying they were walking in remembrance of someone. I was walking for Rusty though I had no sign on my back. I just didn't see them when I was registering. Yesterday I went to Six Flags on a whim with my friend Dennis. Haven't seem him in ages and we bonded last year over Six Flags and we did it again. He had five friends with him, Jessica, Tracy, Jason, Sideek (I know that's not spelled right) and Jonathon, Sideek's 6 year old son. Jonathon was totally adorable and by the end of the night he was only riding the rides with me and always holding my hand. It was cool. It is a totally different experience going there with a kid cause we had to go to all the booths and stuff in addition to all the rides. But everyone was freaking hysterical. It's funny when you are walking through the park and people notice us cause we are all making so much noise or being so obnoxious. It was cool. I wasn't going to stay all night but I ended up doing so and so we went to the haunted houses. In reality they were pretty cheesy but there was some nice frights. My first time going to Fright Fest and it was fun. At one point they started putting all this fog into the park and that gave a nice effect to the whole place. It was cool. I am just so tired today. sigh 2003-10-06 12:05:00,2003-10-06 09:05:47

2003-10-06 20:55:00,2003-10-06 17:55:32 Jeffrey Jeffrey Oh my god I love this movie. I am so tempted to carry a small portable DVD player and show it to everyone. I had forgotten how many great lines there are in it. 2003-10-08 23:03:00,2003-10-08 20:03:56 okay, start hating me.... now. I just got back from seeing 'Kill Bill' and oh my god. I need someone else to see it so I can talk about it. There were free passes from the comic shop and I took Brett and had a BLAST. I won't say a thing but I have never seen so much blood. I laugh thinking about it. 2003-10-09 12:00:00,2003-10-09 09:01:01 "madame Gaston, his little wife...." FINALLY! 2003-10-17 13:29:00,2003-10-17 10:30:58 god fuck hell shit dam you ever want to take an ax to your coworkers (just kidding Har) because they are stupid and can't get things done on time and so now you have to be here all weekend getting the shit done that they fucked up. And you are doing the work of three people. And I don't just say that, I am doing the full work of two and half people. I am so burned out and so fucking stressed I can't even sleep at night. I need a drink. 2003-10-18 12:29:00,2003-10-18 09:30:49 why am I at work on this beautiful Saturday. sigh 2003-10-21 09:26:00,2003-10-21 06:26:08 So why am I never on people's compatibility 'do me' lists? Hrumph. Anyway, had a good weekend. Took care of my nephew on sat. Wow what a terror. sunday ran into a dear friend, Karen, from college and the old tracks days. she looked better than ever and seeing her made me feel so good. she has such an infectious smile and radiates such energy. It was amazing to see her. I have nothing else to say. I'm trying but things fucking suck on many fronts and so i shall be quiet. 2003-10-22 13:37:00,2003-10-22 10:37:59 Electric Six is on iTunes. I can't wait to see them in concert. 2003-10-26 23:47:00,2003-10-26 20:47:33 snarl a week of hell is over. hopefully. we got the major project done at work and even though I racked up almost 60 hours this week I think it went well. I'm still a smidge bitter with all the work that I had to do and how when things were going right and well nothing was mentioned but when something was done wrong by me all because the analysis I had received was incorrect, people got all weird. But oh well, I guess without any training I should have been able to figure all this out with any SOPs or anything. What was I thinking? Friday had a good night and went to a concert with my friend Leah. We went to see a band called Maroon 5. They were pretty good but I think the better band was a guy called Marc Broussard. He was so very cool. It was nice to see a buy so spirited. And the cool thing was that you could buy his show that night on CD. It was very cool and once my friend burns it I will listen to it all the time. His regular CD is a little goddy but not bad. Really soulful. The middle band was something called Gavin Degross or something. He sucked. Worked at Big Planet today. It was a nice way to relax and read comics. I am getting the hang or working there alone. I kinda miss retail. I know I have more to talk about but I can't think of anything. Seeing the band Electric 6 on Wednesday at the Black Cat. Hear them, love them, buy the T-shirt. Truly they are a great band. 2003-10-29 10:48:00,2003-10-29 07:48:33 Eddie Wow, last night was a comedic orgasm. I have now seen to of my ultra-favorite comedians in person. Robin Williams last year for my birthday and now Eddie Izzard. Both so totally different and both people that I admire and want to be. Though the image of Robin Williams wearing the dress the Eddie had on last night would just be flattering...or maybe it would be...IN MY HEAD! Anyway it was a great show and my stomach hurt from laughing so much. I highly recommend seeing him and if you can't then rent the Dress to Kill DVD. I guarantee you will love it!* * this guarantee had no validity, but if you don't love it and make it yours, well then you're just stupid and I don't know why I know you. Stupid like a Belt. 2003-10-30 11:55:00,2003-10-30 08:55:27 snot there's nothing worse than a queen with a head cold |
