Well the day is over and a great shoot was had. Did the 48 Film Project with Kelley and crew again
and had a blast. They day flew by.

The process has been rough and last nights show was rough but the audience loved it. Well
they were all OLD people so they were just happy to be out of the old folks home.
In all seriousness, I am very happy for this play and encourage people to see it.

crap i'm tired.
saw the film on wednesday (pics will be posted in a few minutes) and then had a meeting from 8:30
to 4:30 yesterday. God lord that sucked. Then had a show last night, tonight is the
official opening
night, and then went out for drinks after the show with the cast and then was in bed by 1 and up
at 6 to get to work at 7:30 for another meeting and I have a show tonight and then I crash on
saturday morning.
and apparently i had my hand in the pocket of my pants and my hand
smells like money and i can't stop smelling it.
I'm just rambling.

Well it was an interesting weekend.
Death of a Salesman opened well and we had some really good crowds. It is so exciting being on
stage. I also think, oddly enough since this role terrified me from the onset, that I am the least
nervous that I have ever been for this show. It helps that I am 'asleep' on stage for the first 6
pages but I am a lot less nervous that I have ever been. I guess I am just amazed that it feels
so good to be up there and I crave being on stage all the time. Arg. One day I will win the
lottery than I can own my own theatre and put on shows and bring in shows...sigh.
Mother's Day was good and alcoholic. As usual. Steak and family and drinks and the family
forgetting that I was there. Good times!
Sitting here looking at my calendar which i think is called a day in britian or something
like that and I can't tell you how much I want to get there. I need a break from life.
I am feeling energized and happy with Ky and all that but stagnant as well. So stagnant
that I feel like I am turning into Swamp Thing. All I need is Heather Locklear to come
in an I can eat her or what ever happened in the movie.

saw Hitchhikers Guide last night. Great movie. First time I had been to the
theatre in way over 6 months. Just a really pleasant and wonderfully british, though
not enough british actors in it, movie. Sam Rockwell is a god. I loved him in that.

this day started so well. I woke up early and refreshed and was even out of the
house earlier than normal. My starbucks trip was fun and the traffic wasn't so
bad but then i get into the office and all goes to hell. One thing I realized is that
I like having power and I hate incompetence. It irks me. We have three teams
here all doing a piece of the puzzle that makes up our product. I am in charge of
testing this software that one of the teams did. First, what I asked them on friday
isn't what they are saying now. So I went to the other team that maintains our
servers and got the dog ass run around from them about getting tasked to do
this and that before anything can happen. I know I am impulsive but this pissed
me off. Internal team fighting is hurting everything else. I know I would break
tons of stuff with my impulsiveness but this lack of progress is driving me mad.

Sigh.
So this weekend we had three more shows of Death of a Salesman and I really
think that they went really well. My mom came saturday and Ky came on sunday.
I am really happy with a lot of aspect of this show. There are some things I would
change and some actors I would recast but I think we pull it off fairly well. Some of the
audience every night least crying. :) I like that.
No need to decide what to do when this is over. I have a one act that I may be directing
and (hopefully for the love of god) rewriting. It's a good effort but really needs
some work and I might as well give it a shot.
Cant wait till wednesday to see StarWars at the Uptown!

ever just hated someone for no reason? Yeah i thought so. There is this guy at my office who,
for some unknown reason, I hate. Well maybe I do know.
And here's why:
First, he talks too loud. Always talking about cars or Nascar or other thing. Now I like cars
and things but on him it annoys me because he comes off sounding like the world's expert on cars.
Second, his pants are ALWAYS too damn short. I mean come on people, how hard is it to make
sure your pants fit. Sheesh.
Third, he's got that thin whispy white trash mustashe that lookslike it isn't there but it... blarg.
Fourth, he has no style. In addition to the pants, everything else he wears is vile. Homeless
would turn this shit down.
Fifth, he's ugly. Yeah beauty is skin deep blah blah blah. He just irks me.

oh Roger Ebert. I have always liked him and have mostly agreed with his reviews
but in SWEPIII he talks about how it was easy to get onto the ship in the opening scene
and all that. It was my understanding, and maybe i'm wrong, but that the whole
thing was a trap and the end result of the scene up in the tower is exactly what
Palpatine wants. Just a thought since I can't stop thinking about the damn movie.

Ah my god i'm tired and i'm hungry and fat. Yeah it's a monday.
SO, the play went well this weekend with one small hitch. The rain forced us to cancel
out friday show. Apparently there was massive flooding, thankfully not on our side of
the building, and alarms going off, so no show. So that sucked. But I did get to do down
and see Ky and I got to take Sammie and April out to the country since I was dog sitting.
They loved it. And they really loved the fact that RIGHT BEFORE getting in the car,
they ran down to the creek and got all muddy. Fucking dogs. So i had to hose them
off and then smell wet dog the hour and 45 min ride home. Wheeeeeeeee.
Made my alcohol filled strawberries for the after party saturday. it's always tricky to
have a party after the last show, after strike, and i still managed to stay up till 4 am.
I think I am still tired.
Saw Star Wars again on sunday. Still a freaking great movie.
I
have a DVD of Death of a Salesman, well made DVD and man do I hate watching
myself on DVD. Ick.

its odd really.
Life.
So many things happen in one day that are wonderful and powerful and strong that they
usually overpower the disturbing and unsettling things. Today is a day of flux. I had a
great last night with Ky and we finally went dancing at Remington's again, and man
was my stage fright in full force. We laughed and talked and just had a good time. Today
I am for some reason exhausted. Even though I was in bed earlier than normal I cannot
wake up today. I think that is why everything on an emotional level is so tender at the
moment. For example, I am listening to Erasure. Love them always have. Now that
Andy Bell is positive I can't help but think about life. For some reason i'm seriously
censoring myself and it's annoying. Anyway, he's positive and a friend of mine is positive
and with that new vested interest I am getting so annoyed at the state of things in the
world. All the headlines I see are that funding is decreasing and programs are getting cut
and people every day are dying. It's just so frustrating to know that friends I have and
people I know are going to die. How do you deal with helplessness? How do you go on
knowing that there is nothing you can do? I know this thinking in just how i feel at the
moment and all i can do is support them in the the way they need me and volunteer
and give money but I fear that so many people are forgetting. I need to stop before I start
making giant hypocritical generalizations.

Staggered awake
saturday morning to get to this Mercedes Benz roll out show for their new M series.
It was just an excuse to drive these new cars and, well, how can i say no. I got to take
these sweet cars around a few courses and get free food and free stuff.
Later that
afternoon, went to see Ky and we headed to see Star Wars again. My third time.

Sunday went to Busch Gardens and had a freaking blast. The park was crowded
but nothing that was too obnoxious. Rode the new DarKastle ride, that was very cool.
Not as cool as the Spiderman ride in Orlando at Universal but very good nine the less.
Spent 12 hours at the park. It's amazing how you can do that when there are only
three coasters to ride, Big Bad Wolf doesn't count as a coaster because it Big Bad Sucks.
The 2 1/2 drive at 10:45 at night is a killer tho.
Vegged monday and watched movies
in the morning. Took Maggie hiking and did a little skinny dipping. And let me tell
you the water in the Blue Ridge mountains is freaking cold! But it felt so good too.
Party that night and then back in the office. Very tired today. :)
