good weekend. took friday off because I had comp time and 220 hours of vacation. had to go to the dentist in the am and then i went to look at the cherry blossoms. again I came to the realization that after about 10 minutes, they get really boring. But since i parked miles away I had to complete the circuit. even the people watching was kinda lame. headed to ky's with the dgos after that and vegged and set plants on fire. Woke up saturday (thank god!) and thought about hacking up the dogs into little pieces but then decided against it. April (one of my goldens) has something wrong with her that makes her hack all the time and hence no sleep. That and sammie (my other) walked around all the time and Maggie (Ky's German Sheppard) licking her twat all night. It sucked. We got up and did some (GASP) gardening. The gazebo is up and we got plants and stuff and did yard work. Thankfully there are no actual pictures of me doing stuff. Had a great dinner at this new upscale restaurant. It was good.
have the house to myself all week, not that I have much time there to enjoy it but it's still nice."

Watching Jeffrey for the firrst time in ages.
Man how things have changed in the time since I last saw it. It's still

Went to see Christopher Moore last nigth at
Olssons in Arlington. My god I love this man more than ever. All of his
books have been such fun to read and when my friend colin mentioned that
he was going to be here in the area to speak, I had to go. He is as
funny is person as he is in the books. Even more so. Very well spoken
and funny.
He talked a lot about the new book, A Dirty Job, which is very good so far. Very funny. And he talked about Lamb, which may be his more popular book so far. He's just really cool and a fun read. Hence the links everywhere in the post and the whoring of him out. :)"

I'm so tired my eyes are twitching. And
let me tell you, it's getting on my nerves.
That said, it was another wonderful weekend with Ky. I drove down on saturday morning and did yardwork. Assisted in planting these trees for the garden. He really did themajority of the work I just dug three holes bigger and moved the trees in and started filling in the dirt and pete moss. I mean not that I know what pete moss is ... it was just there...and uh....yardwork sucks. Go Nationals!
I don't know what I'm saying.
Saturday night had dinner at Wade's (part of the Party of Six). Need to find a cool name ... like scooby gang or something. So we drank, danced, drank, ate and drank some more. It was another funas hell night with us just all hanging out.
Sunday we woke up (thankfully) and headed to Busch Gardens. I was already getting stiff (from the trees!) and the park just made it worse. I am very sore now. But again we had magical coaster karma. The rides seemed to get better and faster. The first drop on Apollo is just awesome in the back row. Again more drinking and shows and rides. A blast.
Not so blasty was the 4 and a half hour drive home. Almost 3 to ky's and 1 1/2 from there to my house. I was doing pretty good save for the last 15 minutes on the highway. Little sleepy. But I had Sara Evans, one of the best voices in country, playing loudly and that helped.
Next coaster trip: Dollywood!!!"
