2005-02-13 So Florida was a complete fucking bust. All the work that we tried to do ended us with us not passing testing. I'm not even going to try and explain what that means but I am pretty furious with some of the developers that I work with. And there wasn't anything exciting about the trip either. It was kinda fun that there was a gay bar 15 feet from my hotel and that was fun to go to. Didn't meet anyone but wasn't looking anyway so I got to know the bartenders well. That is always important. Did get a chance to go Busch Gardens and rode a shit load of coasters. The last day I was there I rode 2 coasters a combined 16 times in a span of 2 hours. It was awesome. Now back to the grind. I am excited to get back into the swing of things like acting. Now that Tampa is out of the way and i can try and focus on things again I am excited to .... wow lost my train of thought. i have no idea what i'm talking about. time for bed 2005-02-13 There is a commercial with "The Girl from Ipanema" playing in it. Why are they playing this when I am trying to go to bed?
2005-02-24 I haven't posted in over 10 days. So, uh yeah. I am all scatter brained today. it's nutty. I am listening to this kick ass cd I made for Ky that gives a good indication of the music at Nation on the thursday. I have been on a CD making kick for some reason. I think since my laptop went tits up and I have been trying to restore all the lost data, which I finally began to do this morning - thank god - I have had time while the harddrive is checked to make cds. And until I can get one of those iTrips for my ipod all I can listen to in the Jetta are CDs. What a boring story. I'm HORNY. Anyway, what else. Unbecoming begins next week and I am a little nervous about it. I think we all have our lines down by this point, ha we better, but there are some technical things to smooth out. Its going to be a fun show. I crave being on stage again. Looks like my friend Dave is getting a new job working for 'the man'. That's going to be exciting. I farted. I think i need a snow check. I'll ramble more when I return. 2005-02-24 So this day is officially the slowest day in history. I have no incentive to get anything done and even if i wanted to get anything done everyone else in the building has left due to the government being a flatulent pussy and letting everyone out early. So alone i sit, listening to the Oz and Xander chronicles (see last post about making CDs), wishing that I were in the mountains, curled up on the sofa watching the snow fall and snuggling to watch Family Guy. Sigh. But I am stuck in the hell hole of an office because I can't go home, can but don't want to drive home and then all the way back to the city for rehearsal. Rehearsal is the one thing that I am looking forward to today because I really want to go. I understand why but hated missing Tuesday. I do hope everyone is feeling better and if not I ain't kissing them. (Come see the show, there's SEX in it. Well a kiss. But it could lead to sex!!!!) Sigh, sex. Maybe I'll leave and head to Dupont circle and get Chipotle or something. God i'm so bored.
2005-02-25 So I think this thread is really depressing me. I know there are tons of things I want to do that I haven't and this, in a way, is spurring me into action. Anyway, Name ten things you have done that your friends probably haven't done: (Now with comments!) 1) Been to Australia (i know a lot of folks that haven't. AND it was a free trip.) 2) Had dinner with Chuck Jones (technically in the same room but we had a nice 10 minute chat) 3) Met Friz Freeling. 4) Touched the presidents desk in the Oval Office even though i was told not to. 5) Had sex under the Lincoln Monument. 6) Sang in the National Cathedral for President Bush Seniors inaugural. 7) Gone skydiving (Can you tell that I am scratching the bottom of the barrel now) 8) Received a blessing at Westminster Abbey. 9) Had my sexual exploits accidentally left on the voicemail of a non participating friend. :) 10) Met Linda Carter and helped her shop when she came in to my store when I worked for Warner Bros. Man that list sucked. I have to go out and get some more shit done. Sheesh 2005-02-25 I dont know how this is going to come off because I'm just writing through the feeling but anyway I was checking out coasters on rcdb.com and I ran across this photo of these two girls in the front car of a train. The younger girl, maybe 12, had her arms up in the air and I assume her sister, maybe 16, was sitting next to her with the biggest grin on her face. She wasn't particularly pretty but her joy and happines beamed out of this photo. It was a cool photo. That's all. 2005-02-28 Does anyone have the issue of playboy with Chrisma Carpenter in it? Does anyone want to give it to me because I am a good person? I was talking to my buffy friend and he didn't know that she had done this and is really interested in seeing it. 2005-02-28 tickets for the may 2 Erasure show are gone. if you want to see them the 3rd is still open. 5 of us are going so far. I would suggest logging on to the 930 website and getting tickets. the more the gayer! |
