January 23, 2002 Well, last night was the first of the dress rehearsals at the Metro Cafe for the show Ellipsis and it all went pretty well. I was happy with my performance and though there are still a few things we have to work through it's going to be a good show. I just need to not lose my voice as there are moments where I get nuts and start yelling. Hehe. But I think that last night got a lot of the fears outta the way. I get very, very nervous before I go onstage, just look at the Lion in Winter pictures for proof, and this should alleviate some of the fears. I hope. We'll just have to wait and see. Info on the show can be found here: www.cavegirl.com. Romeo and Juliet is also going really well. We have our hot Romeo back from vacation and now we can get into everything in full swing. We have the fighting mostly choreographed and the blocking is mostly done as well. As usual it was a very nice experience, nothing deep was said or entertained but it was nice nonetheless. The gave me some ideas of a business to open which I am going to start working on. But we hung out with my brother his wife and Harrison most of the time and that was nice cause I don't get the chance to do that very often. Then my dad and stepmom walked around the city and talked about money and looked at these great new town homes in Arlington which were starting at $575,000. Amazing cause the finishing on these houses sucked. I can see all the molding split in 6 months. But that just reassured me that I will never have the money to actually get a place of my own. Kinda depressing. Oh well. January 14, 2002 Well we are now halfway through the first month of the year and it feels pretty much like the last one. Not much has changed. LOL. The plays are going well and even though they are taking all my time they still make me so happy to be there. Even though we have to fight insane Laurel High School Cheerleader and there insane high pitched squeels. Each night I wonder how hard I would have to chuck a pitchfork to have to through a cheerleader and into the wall behind her. Hmmm. Anyway, the date for the first one is coming up, the first dates being the 4,5,6 of February. I think it will be good, we have been working our asses off. The other play, Romeo and Juliet, is almost more fun cause there are more people to work with and its Shakespeare, who I love. But that one just began and it will be up some time in late April. And of course there is one person in particular who is driving my libido nuts. But I don't anything will happen but it makes the time go by to have a lust and makes me forget that there is no one in my love life at the moment but me. Sigh. I got porn and a hand, all is good. January 04, 2002 Well it's 2002. I wanna know where 2001 went. I swear it was just here somewhere. But 2001 one was a good year I guess. I got into acting again which is probably the one thing that meakes me the happiest. Still haven't found the love of my life to spend the rest of my life with but the hunt goes and on and I have made some really nice friends out of the prospects. Work is still the same but it feels like its time to move on. I'm going to talk to some people about that and see what happens. But thats just me and I am burdened with this huge end or year depression that is making all things dificult right now. I need to take care of this one day. Anyway... So this past New Year I went up to New York to hang out with my best friend DJ. I can't think how long this has been a tradition but we had the best time. We always do. He makes me laugh like no other person. We spent a lot of time in front of the television getting caught up on all the Buffy the Vampire I had missed. The one that I really liked was the musical episode. What a genius show! I was so impressed. So we watched that twice and I got home and downloaded a quicktime movie of the show and all the music. hehehe. Also in New York we went to see The Full Monty. Another great show. I was again impressed cause I heard some things about it but now much. But it was done really well and it full of cute people. The songs are all really good. The for the actual New Year party we had a get together at DJ's apartment in Brooklyn. It was a blast as you can see by the photos.
